Easy To Apply
A water-based coating, MULTI-COAT makes coating virtually any asphalt or concrete surfaces easy as "buttering toast." After the job is completed, clean-up is a simple matter of washing and rinsing with clean, warm water.
Coverage?
MULTI-COAT will cover approximately 150 square feet per gallon, depending on the porosity of the surface, providing 10.7 Mils wet film (3.5 Mil dry film) thickness. Select a warm dry day for application. Do not apply when temperature is below 60?F (15.6?C) or if rainy conditions prevail. Allow new surfaces 120 days to cure before application.
Surface Preparation
To prepare the surface for coating, sweep the surface clean. Remove all grease and oil spots by scraping, then use a good cleaning agent such as QUADRA-KLEAN INDUSTRIAL CLEANER to remove oil film. Hose down complete surface. Sweep all puddles away and allow to dry. Fill all cracks with TRC's ASPHALT POURABLE CRACK FILLER or NU-FLOOR FLEX JOINT to ensure a smooth even surface. Do not use coating to fill large cracks.
Application:
After surface has been properly cleaned and dried, pour a small amount of MULTI-COAT directly as it comes from the container. Do not thin! Spread the coating as thin and evenly as possible by using a soft bristle push broom or rubber squeegee. A second coat is recommended for best results. Allow first coat to dry overnight then apply second coat. MULTI-COAT will dry to touch in 2 to 3 hours, and dry completely overnight. For clean-up, use warm water.
