ALUMINUM ROOF CEMENT is the single most important step in repairing a roof and reinforcing problem areas. The roof is ready for repairs after a thorough cleaning. QUADRA-KLEAN mixed with water (1:4) works well. For rusted areas use Texas Refinery Corp.'s RUST REMOVER. Rinse thoroughly with water under pressure, if possible. Then coat the roof with QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE Coating, if required by the specified system. QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE will stop the two most powerful enemies of a metal roof ... rust and corrosion. In instances where rust is severe and the integrity of the metal is questionable, those portions of the metal roof should be replaced.

Once cleaned and readied, use ALUMINUM METAL SEAL ROOF CEMENT to quickly repair seams, protrusions, fastener heads, bolts and screws. If utilizing the ALUMINUM METAL ROOF SYSTEM, reinforce seams, nail and screw holes and around protrusions with ALUMINUM ROOF CEMENT and POLY MAT ROOFING MESH, using Texas Refinery Corp.'s "Sandwich System of Roof Repair."

With the ALUMINUM SHIELD SYSTEM II, ALUMINUM QUICK PATCH (available in 3" wide rolls and 3" x 3" squares) is used to seal separated seams and protrusions. ALUMINUM METAL SEAL ROOF CEMENT is applied to fastener heads and where needed to seal leaking or potential leaking areas.

ALUMINUM METAL SEAL ROOF CEMENT is a solvent-based rubberized fibered polymer system. Easily applied with a trowel, or even a fibered applicator such as a brush or mop. Available in 5 gal. pails and in cases of 4 one gallon pails It is designed to give extra strength and water resistance when cured.

ALUMINUM ROOF CEMENT can be used to effectively repair and reinforce metal seams, bolts, fasteners and protrusions. Used in conjunction with POLY-MAT Roofing Material in the standard ALUMINUM METAL SEAL ROOF SYSTEM or with ALUMINUM QUICK-PATCH in the ALUMINUM SHIELD SYSTEM II, ALUMINUM METAL ROOF CEMENT helps eliminate thermal shock which causes damage by expansion and contraction. In effect, it helps waterproof and stabilize any separated vertical or horizontal seams and projections through the roof.
